1. Locate the key release button on the side of the key fob. Press this button and pull the key blade out of the fob.
2. Use a small flat-head screwdriver to pry open the back cover of the key fob. Be careful not to damage the plastic casing.
3. Inside the key fob, you will see the battery. Carefully remove the battery by prying it out with the screwdriver.
4. Replace the old battery with a new one of the same type. Make sure the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals of the battery are facing the correct way.
5. Put the back cover back on the key fob and snap it into place.
6. Test the key fob to make sure it is working properly by pressing the lock and unlock buttons.
If the key fob still does not work, you may need to program it to your car. Consult your car's owner's manual for instructions on how to do this.
