1. Open the trunk of the vehicle.
2. Flip the carpet back to the trunk floor.
3. On the left side of the spare tire well you'll see a Styrofoam block. Lift it out and set aside.
4. Next, the battery cover will be visible.
5. Unfasten the clamps of the battery clamp (not the terminals to the battery) and remove the black protective battery cover.
6. You will now see the battery terminal.
