- Socket wrench set

Instructions:
Safety Precautions:
1. Ensure the vehicle is parked on a flat surface.
2. Turn off the engine and allow it to cool down completely.
3. Disconnect the negative terminal:
a. Open the hood of your vehicle.
b. Locate the negative terminal on your battery (it will be marked with a "-" sign).
c. Using the appropriate size wrench, loosen the nut on the negative terminal to disconnect the battery.
Battery Removal:
4. Remove the battery hold-down:
a. Unscrew the bolts or nuts holding the battery hold-down in place using a socket wrench.
b. Remove the hold-down from the battery.
5. Lift out the battery:
a. Carefully lift the battery out of the battery tray.
b. Be cautious, as batteries are heavy.
Battery Installation:
6. Place the new battery in the tray.
7. Reattach the battery hold-down:
a. Position the battery hold-down over the new battery.
b. Insert the bolts or nuts and tighten them using a socket wrench.
Reconnect the Battery:
8. Reconnect the negative terminal:
a. Place the negative terminal cable onto the negative terminal of the battery.
b. Tighten the nut on the negative terminal until it's secure.
9. Test the battery:
a. Start the vehicle to test the battery.
b. Ensure that the battery indicator light on the dashboard turns off.
10. Close the hood of your vehicle.
Additional Tip:
- Clean the battery terminals before reconnecting the cables. Dirt or corrosion on the terminals can affect the battery's performance. Use a wire brush or sandpaper to clean the terminals.
Disposal of the Old Battery:
- Dispose of the old battery responsibly and according to local regulations. Many auto parts stores and recycling centers offer battery recycling services.
