Instructions
1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal.
2. Remove the four bolts holding the alternator in place.
3. Disconnect the electrical connector from the alternator.
4. Remove the alternator from the vehicle.
5. Install the new alternator in reverse order of removal.
Additional Tips:
- Be sure to use a socket set that is specifically designed for metric bolts.
- When disconnecting the electrical connector, be careful not to damage the terminals.
- If the alternator is difficult to remove, use a pry bar to gently pry it out of place.
- Before reconnecting the negative battery terminal, be sure to double-check all of your connections.
