Locate the small notch in one of the sides of the key fob. This is the key release.
Use the key release to carefully pry open the key fob. The key fob will split into two pieces, the housing and the electronic module.
Locate the battery compartment inside the electronic module. The battery compartment will have a small lid that can be opened.
Open the battery compartment lid and insert the batteries. The batteries should be inserted with the positive (+) side up and the negative (-) side down.
Replace the battery compartment lid and close the key fob by snapping the two pieces back together.
Make sure the key fob is securely closed before using it.
