1. Park your vehicle on a level surface and allow the engine to cool down.
2. Open the hood of your vehicle.
3. Locate the radiator cap. It is usually located on the top of the radiator.
4. Remove the radiator cap.
5. Insert a garden hose into the radiator and turn on the water.
6. Allow the water to run through the radiator until it comes out clean. This may take a few minutes.
7. Close the radiator cap.
8. Start the engine and let it run for a few minutes.
9. Turn off the engine and allow it to cool down.
10. Open the radiator cap and add a mixture of 50% antifreeze and 50% water to the radiator.
11. Replace the radiator cap and tighten it securely.
Your cooling system is now flushed.
Note: If you live in a cold climate, you may want to use a higher concentration of antifreeze in the coolant mixture.
