1. Open the hood of your vehicle.
2. Locate the battery on the passenger side of the engine compartment. It is a black plastic case with two terminals, one positive and one negative.
3. Remove the negative terminal cable by loosening the bolt that holds it in place. Be careful not to touch the positive terminal cable with the negative terminal cable, as this could cause a short circuit.
4. Remove the positive terminal cable by loosening the bolt that holds it in place.
5. Lift the battery out of the vehicle.
6. Install the new battery by placing it in the battery tray and securing it with the hold-down clamp.
7. Connect the positive terminal cable to the positive terminal on the battery. Tighten the bolt that holds it in place.
8. Connect the negative terminal cable to the negative terminal on the battery. Tighten the bolt that holds it in place.
9. Close the hood of your vehicle.
