Where is the tensioner pulley on a 1994 Lexus ES 300 and how do belts come off?

The tensioner pulley is located on the front of the engine, left of the center. It has a spring loaded arm and a pulley wheel around which the serpentine belt passes.

To remove the belts:

1. Loosen the tensioner pulley bolt or nut (as indicated by the arrow on the tensioner pulley)

2. Push the tensioner pulley arm away from the engine to relieve belt tension

3. Remove the serpentine belt from the tensioner pulley

4. Remove the serpentine belt from around the other pulleys
