2006 Chevrolet Silverado Fuel Filter Location

The fuel filter on a 2006 Chevrolet Silverado is located inside the fuel tank. To access it, you will need to remove the fuel tank skid plate and then lower the fuel tank.

Here are the steps on how to replace the fuel filter on a 2006 Chevrolet Silverado:

1. Park your truck on a level surface and apply the parking brake.

9. Install the new fuel filter. Press the new fuel filter onto the fuel tank.

10. Reconnect the fuel lines to the fuel filter. Tighten the nuts that hold the fuel lines in place.

11. Raise the fuel tank back into position.

12. Reinstall the fuel tank skid plate.

13. Start the engine and check for leaks.
