1. Pull the hood release lever. The hood release lever is located on the driver’s side footwell, near the door sill. Pull the lever to release the hood.
2. Go to the front of the vehicle and lift the hood. The hood will lift slightly.
3. Locate the hood prop rod. The hood prop rod is located on the driver’s side of the engine bay.
4. Insert the hood prop rod into the hole. The hole is located on the underside of the hood, near the hinge.
5. Close the hood. The hood will close securely.
