1. If you have a spare key, you can use it to unlock your Jeep.
2. Once you are inside, you can program a new keyless entry remote using the following steps:
a. Insert the spare key into the ignition and turn it to the “ON” position.
b. Press and hold the “Lock” button on the driver’s door for 10 seconds.
c. Release the “Lock” button and press the “Unlock” button for 10 seconds.
d. Repeat steps b and c two more times.
e. The new keyless entry remote should now be programmed.
If you do not have a spare key:
1. If you do not have a spare key, you will need to call a locksmith or a Jeep dealership to have a new one made.
2. The locksmith or Jeep dealership will be able to cut a new key and program it to work with your vehicle’s security system.
