1. Start by shifting the transmission into neutral.
2. Next, press and hold the 4Lo button on the transfer case shift selector.
3. While holding the 4Lo button, use the shift lever to select 2 Hi.
4. If the transfer case does not immediately shift into 2 Hi, hold the 4Lo button for a few more seconds, release it, and then try again.
5. You will hear a beep to confirm that the transfer case has been shifted into 2 Hi.
Note: Be sure to shift into 2 Hi only when the vehicle is not moving or is rolling at a very low speed. Attempting to shift into 2 Hi while the vehicle is moving at high speeds could damage the transfer case.
