Does Missouri require a cdl to drive truck used for farm?

Missouri law exempts farm trucks from commercial driver's license (CDL) requirements under certain conditions. To qualify for this exemption, the truck must:

1. Be used exclusively for agricultural purposes, including transporting farm products, supplies, or equipment.

2. Not be used to transport hazardous materials, for hire, or in interstate commerce.

3. Have a gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) of 26,001 pounds or less.

If a farm truck meets all of these criteria, the driver does not need a CDL to operate it in Missouri. However, drivers must still comply with all other applicable traffic laws, including those governing vehicle size, weight, and safety equipment.
