* A new window motor (if necessary)
2. Disconnect the battery. This is an important safety precaution to take before working on any electrical components. To disconnect the battery, simply loosen the negative terminal (black wire) with a wrench and pull it off the battery post.
3. Remove the door panel. The door panel is held in place by a few screws and clips. Use the flat-head screwdriver to pry up the clips and then remove the screws with the ratchet or socket wrench.
4. Locate the window motor. The window motor is located inside the door, behind the door panel. It is a black box with a few wires connected to it.
5. Disconnect the window motor. There are two wires that connect the window motor to the car's electrical system. Use the pliers to disconnect these wires.
6. Remove the window motor. There are two bolts that hold the window motor in place. Remove these bolts with the 10 mm socket.
7. Install the new window motor (if necessary). If the window motor is broken, you will need to install a new one. To do this, simply reverse the steps above.
8. Reconnect the battery. Once the new window motor is installed, you can reconnect the battery.
9. Test the window motor. Once the battery is reconnected, you can test the window motor by turning on the ignition and pressing the window switch. The window should move up and down smoothly.
10. Reinstall the door panel. Once the window motor is working properly, you can reinstall the door panel. To do this, simply reverse the steps you took to remove it.
