Where is the blower motor resistor on a 2003 S40 located?

1. Disconnect the battery.

2. Remove the glove compartment.

3. Locate the blower motor resistor on the passenger side of the HVAC housing. It is held in place by two screws.

4. Remove the two screws and pull the resistor straight out.

5. Disconnect the electrical connector from the resistor.

6. Install the new resistor in the reverse order of removal.
