1. Open the front bonnet (hood) of the vehicle.
2. Locate the black fuse box on the driver's side of the engine compartment.
3. The fuse box cover usually has a diagram indicating the location and purpose of each fuse.
For VW Type 2 (T2) Camper Van (1967-1979):
1. Open the front bonnet (hood) of the van and locate the front luggage compartment (also called the "frunk").
2. Inside the frunk, you should see a black plastic cover labeled "Sicherungskasten" or "Fuse Box."
3. Remove the cover to access the fuse box.
For VW Camper Van Type 25 (T3) (1979-1992):
1. Locate the fuse panel on the driver's side of the dashboard, below the steering wheel.
2. It is usually covered by a plastic panel, which can be removed by pressing the tabs and lifting it off.
For VW Camper Van Type 70 (T4) (1990-2003):
1. Open the driver's door and locate the fuse panel on the left side of the dashboard.
2. It is usually behind a plastic cover, which can be opened by pressing the tabs on the side.
For VW Camper Van Type 7H (T5) (2003-2015):
1. Locate the fuse panel on the driver's side of the dashboard, behind the storage compartment flap.
2. The fuses are located behind the cover, which can be opened by pressing the release button on the side.
