Does a helicopter need petrol to take off?

Helicopters do not run on petrol. Helicopters are powered by an engine that uses a combination of fuels such as aviation fuel, commonly known as jet fuel, or a blend of gasoline and oil. Petrol is not a suitable fuel for helicopters.
