2. Prepare a container:
- Place an oil drain pan or a suitable container beneath the oil drain plug to collect the old oil.
3. Remove the oil drain plug:
- Use a suitable wrench or socket to loosen and remove the oil drain plug.
- Be careful, as the oil may be hot.
4. Let the oil drain:
- Allow the old oil to drain completely into the container.
5. Replace the oil drain plug:
- Once all the oil has drained, screw the oil drain plug back into place.
- Tighten the plug securely to prevent leaks.
6. Reinstall the oil filter:
- If you have removed the oil filter for maintenance, reinstall it as per the manufacturer's instructions.
7. Re-check oil level:
- Use the oil dipstick to check the oil level and add more oil if needed.
- Refer to your ATV's owner manual for the recommended oil type and capacity.
8. Start the ATV:
- Start the ATV and let it run for a few minutes to circulate the fresh oil throughout the system.
9. Check for leaks:
- Inspect underneath the ATV for any oil leaks. If you notice any leaks, tighten the oil drain plug or oil filter as needed.
10. Dispose of old oil:
