What is the fuel ratio mix of 2 cycle oil and gas for a toro weed eater?

Fuel Ratio Mix for Toro 2-Cycle Weed Eater

50:1 is the fuel ratio for Toro weed eaters. This means that for every 50 parts of gasoline, you should add one part of 2-cycle oil.

* Using a 50:1 fuel mix, mix the following amounts of gasoline and 2-cycle oil:

* 0.5 US gal (1.9 L) of 2-cycle oil

* 26 US gal (98.4 L) of unleaded gasoline

* 1 fl oz (30 mL) of 2-cycle oil

* 1 US gal (3.8 L) of unleaded gasoline

2-Cycle Oil Requirements

Toro recommends using a 2-cycle oil that meets the NMMA TC-W3 standard. This oil is specifically designed for use in 2-cycle engines, and it will help to protect your engine from wear and tear.

Mixing Fuel and Oil

1. In a clean, approved fuel container, mix the gasoline and 2-cycle oil thoroughly.

2. Agitate fuel container prior to use.

3. Shake the container vigorously for at least 30 seconds to ensure that the oil and gasoline are completely mixed.

Never Mix Fuel with 2-Stroke Oil in the Tank

Fuel containing the recommended amount of 2-cycle oil should always be used in the weed trimmer. Never mix fuel with 2-cycle oil in the tank. This may cause engine damage.

Storage

Mix only the amount of fuel you need for each lawn care project.

If your unit is not going to be used for 30 days or more then drain and refill the fuel tank.
