1. Warm up your engine to operating temperature.
Remove the drain pan and place the drain pan under the oil filter mounting plate bracket with a little oil in the pan to catch any drips off of the bottom.
4. Remove the oil filter.
5. Remove the oil filter screen.
6. Let the oil drain into the drain pan. Make sure you allow all of the oil to drain from the engine.
7. Replace the oil filter screen.
8. Replace the oil filter.
9. Clean up any oil spills you made.
10. Reinstall the drain pan and bracket.
11. Add the correct amount of oil to your engine inaccordance with your owner's manual.
12. Start the engine and let it run for a few minutes to circulate the new oil.
13. Turn off the engine and re-check the oil level to make sure it is at the full mark.
