1. Gather the necessary materials.
- New SAE 30 oil
- Oil drain pan
- Funnel
-Wrench
2. Prepare the snowblower.
* Park the snowblower on a level surface.
* Engage the parking brake.
* Turn the engine off and allow it to cool down.
3. Locate the oil drain plug.
* The oil drain plug is located on the bottom of the engine crankcase.
* It is typically a 1/2-inch bolt with a washer.
4. Place the oil drain pan under the oil drain plug.
- Position the oil drain pan directly beneath the oil drain plug to catch the oil as it drains.
5. Remove the oil drain plug.
* Use the wrench to loosen and remove the oil drain plug.
* Allow the oil to drain completely into the oil drain pan.
6. Replace the oil drain plug.
* Once the oil has drained completely, replace the oil drain plug.
* Tighten the oil drain plug until it is snug.
7. Add new oil to the snowblower.
Use the funnel to add new SAE 30 oil to the snowblower.
* Add oil until the oil level reaches the "Full" mark on the oil dipstick.
* Make sure not to overfill the snowblower with oil, as this can cause engine damage.
8. Check the oil level.
- Allow the snowblower to run for a few minutes.
- Turn the engine off and check the oil level again.
- If the oil level is low, add more oil until it reaches the "Full" mark on the oil dipstick.
9. Dispose of the old oil and the oil filter properly.
- Dispose of the old oil at a local recycling center or hazardous waste disposal facility.
- Dispose of the old oil filter according to your local regulations.
