2. Check the fuel system. Drain the fuel tank and inspect the fuel filter for water contamination. Replace the fuel filter if necessary.
3. Check the oil level. Add oil to the engine if necessary.
4. Check the battery. Check the battery voltage and connections. Clean the battery terminals if necessary.
5. Remove the spark plugs. This will let the engine air out.
6. Turn the engine over several times. This will help pump out any remaining water.
7. Replace the spark plugs.
8. Try starting the engine.
