1. Disconnect the battery. This is important to do to avoid any electrical accidents.
2. Remove the starter motor cover. This is usually held in place by a few bolts.
3. Remove the starter motor bolts. There will be two or three bolts that hold the starter motor in place.
4. Remove the starter motor. Once the bolts are removed, you can lift the starter motor out of the Quad Runner.
5. Inspect the starter motor. Check the starter motor for any damage or wear. If there is any damage, the starter motor will need to be replaced.
6. Clean the starter motor. Use a brush to clean the starter motor and remove any dirt or grime.
7. Reinstall the starter motor. Place the starter motor back into the Quad Runner and secure it with the bolts.
8. Reinstall the starter motor cover.
9. Reconnect the battery.
