2. Remove the cover of the air filter housing. There are usually two screws that hold it in place. You will need a Phillips-head screwdriver.
3. Once the cover is removed, you will see the air filter. It is usually made of foam and is held in place by a plastic frame.
4. Gently remove the air filter from its frame. Be careful not to damage it.
5. Inspect the air filter and clean or replace it if necessary. If it is dirty, you can wash it with mild detergent and water. Allow the filter to dry completely before reinstalling it.
6. Reinsert the air filter into its frame. Make sure it is seated properly.
7. Replace the cover of the air filter housing. Tighten the screws until it is secure.
