* Phillips head screwdriver
* Flat head screwdriver
* Wire stripper
* Crimpers
* Electrical tape
* Kill switch
* 2 wire terminals
* Zip ties
Instructions:
1. Disconnect the negative terminal of the battery.
2. Locate the ignition coil. It is located on the right side of the engine, just below the fuel tank.
3. Remove the two screws that hold the ignition coil in place.
4. Disconnect the wire harness from the ignition coil.
5. Cut the wire that is connected to the positive terminal of the ignition coil.
6. Strip the ends of the wire that you just cut.
7. Crimp a wire terminal to each end of the wire.
8. Connect one of the wire terminals to the positive terminal of the ignition coil.
9. Connect the other wire terminal to the kill switch.
10. Mount the kill switch in a convenient location on the handlebars.
11. Zip tie the kill switch wire to the handlebars.
12. Reconnect the negative terminal of the battery.
13. Test the kill switch to make sure that it is working properly.
When the kill switch is turned off, the engine will not start. This is a safety feature that can be used to prevent the ATV from being stolen or used by unauthorized people.
