Does the Lexus sc300 have a 2jz engine?

The Lexus SC300 does not have a 2JZ engine.

It has a 2JZ-GE engine, which is a different but closely related engine to the 2JZ-GTE. The key difference is the "GE" which stands for "Gasoline Engine", and the "GTE" which stands for "Gasoline Turbocharged Engine".

The SC300, being a naturally aspirated model, uses the 2JZ-GE. The 2JZ-GTE was primarily used in the Supra, with some exceptions.
