What is the diesel vehicle have a vacuum pump?

Most modern diesel vehicles do not have a vacuum pump in the same way that many gasoline vehicles do. Gasoline engines often use a vacuum pump (often integrated into the camshaft) to provide vacuum for things like brake assist, power steering (in some cases), and other vacuum-operated systems.

Diesel engines, however, typically use a different method to provide these functions. They often utilize a vacuum pump integrated into the high-pressure fuel pump or even an electric vacuum pump for these functions. So while the function is the same (creating a vacuum), the implementation is different and it's not usually called a "vacuum pump" in the traditional sense.
