To be certain:
1. Consult your repair manual: A Haynes or Chilton manual specific to your year and model will have diagrams showing the exact sensor locations. This is the most reliable method.
2. Use a parts diagram: Online auto parts stores (like AutoZone, Advance Auto Parts, etc.) allow you to select your vehicle and view diagrams showing parts locations. Look for diagrams of the exhaust system.
3. Visual inspection: Once you have a general idea from the manual or diagram, carefully examine the exhaust system. Bank 1 sensor 2 will be downstream (after) of the catalytic converter on the exhaust manifold/header. They usually have a wire harness connected to them. Be cautious when working near hot exhaust components.
Remember that safety is paramount. If you're not comfortable working on your car yourself, take it to a qualified mechanic.
