Could timing chain jump when press down hard on the gas pedal?

It's highly unlikely a timing chain would jump simply from pressing hard on the gas pedal. Timing chain jumps are usually caused by:

* Chain wear and stretch: Over time, the chain stretches and can eventually skip teeth on the sprockets. This is a gradual process, not something triggered by sudden acceleration.

* Broken or worn sprockets: Damaged sprockets can allow the chain to slip.

* Tensioner failure: The chain tensioner keeps the chain taut. Failure of the tensioner is a common cause of jumping.

* Interference: Something physically obstructing the chain's path. This is rare but possible.

While a sudden surge in engine power *might* exacerbate a pre-existing weak point in the timing chain system, it's not the *cause* of the jump itself. If your chain jumped while accelerating hard, it points to a problem already present within the timing chain mechanism, not the acceleration itself.
