The coolant temperature sensor (CTS) on a 1993 Camaro Z28 LT1 engine is located on the passenger side of the engine, on the cylinder head. It's a single-wire sensor, and it's usually a smaller sensor than other sensors in that area. It's often screwed into the cylinder head near the thermostat housing, but not directly in the thermostat housing itself.
