To find the correct tire pressure:
1. Check the sticker on the driver's side doorjamb. This sticker will specify the recommended tire pressure for your particular Tahoe, based on the tires it came with. This is the most reliable source.
2. Check the sidewall of your tires. The maximum pressure for your tires is printed on the sidewall. Never exceed this maximum pressure. The sticker on the doorjamb will specify a pressure *below* this maximum.
3. Consult your owner's manual. Your owner's manual will have a section detailing recommended tire pressures.
Important Note: The pressure listed on the doorjamb is usually for a properly inflated tire when the vehicle is lightly loaded. You may need to increase the pressure slightly if you are carrying a heavy load. Always inflate your tires to the pressure specified on the doorjamb sticker *unless* you are carrying a very heavy load.
