Where is fuel pump located on 1984 F 150 duel tank when rear connected to front has only 1 drawing from yet there a switch draw one or the other?

On a 1984 Ford F-150 with dual fuel tanks where the rear tank feeds into the front, the fuel pump is located in the front tank. There's only one fuel pump in this setup. The selector switch simply directs fuel flow *from* the front tank to the engine. The rear tank passively feeds fuel into the front tank via gravity or a small transfer pump (depending on the exact configuration of your dual-tank system).
