Location of ignition coil on 2005 ford 500?

The ignition coil on a 2005 Ford Five Hundred is integrated into the valve cover. It's not a separate, easily identifiable coil like on some older vehicles. You won't find a single coil; instead, the coil packs are built into the top of the engine, directly under the valve covers. You'll need to access them by removing the valve covers.
