Where do you check the transmission fluid on a 93 Ford Tempo?

The 1993 Ford Tempo doesn't have a dipstick for checking the automatic transmission fluid. The fluid level is checked by a mechanic using special equipment that measures the fluid level and temperature within the transmission. There's no "do-it-yourself" method for checking the level.
