Will a 400 turbo transmission line up with 305 v6 engine?

No, a TH400 (400 Turbo) transmission will not directly bolt up to a 305 V6 engine. The TH400 is designed for V8 engines and the bolt patterns on the bellhousings are different. You'd need an adapter plate, and even then it might require significant modifications due to differences in the crankshaft and bellhousing configurations. It's a complex and not readily done conversion.
