To be certain:
* Look for the hose connected to the steering gear (the component that actually turns the wheels). The hose leaving this component is the return (low-pressure) line.
* The low-pressure hose will generally be smaller in diameter than the high-pressure line going *to* the steering gear from the pump.
* Trace the lines. Follow the hoses to see where they connect. The one going *back* to the pump is low pressure.
