The oil level sending unit on a 1994 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme is located
in the oil pan. It's not easily accessible without dropping the oil pan or, in some cases (depending on engine and specific vehicle configuration), potentially accessing it from underneath the car with specialized tools. It's a small electrical component screwed into the oil pan.
Because of its location, replacing it requires mechanical knowledge and the right tools. You'll need to drain the oil, remove the oil pan, replace the sending unit, reseal the pan, and refill with fresh oil.
