Where is the ignition module on a 1992 ford explorer?

The 1992 Ford Explorer's ignition module isn't a separate, easily identifiable box like in some older vehicles. Instead, the ignition control module is integrated into the distributor. Therefore, you'll find it inside the distributor cap, which is located on top of the engine. You'll need to remove the distributor cap to see it.
