Where is the idle air sensor in a 2004 Chrysler 3.3L engine?
The 2004 Chrysler 3.3L engine doesn't have a dedicated Idle Air Control (IAC) sensor like many older vehicles. Instead, it uses a Throttle Position Sensor (TPS) and the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) to control idle speed. The PCM manages idle speed based on signals from various sensors, including the TPS, coolant temperature sensor, and mass airflow sensor. There isn't a separate component specifically called an "idle air sensor."
