Where is the timing chain gear on a 78 linncoln town car 460 cid?

The timing chain gear on a 1978 Lincoln Town Car with a 460 CID engine is located at the front of the engine, on the crankshaft. It's the large gear directly connected to the crankshaft, and the timing chain runs from it to the camshaft gear(s). You'll need to remove the front engine cover (timing cover) to see it clearly.
