1. Disconnect the negative terminal of the battery.
2. Remove the bolts that secure the filler neck to the gas tank.
3. Use a pry bar to pry the filler neck up from the gas tank.
4. Remove the fuel line from the gas tank.
5. Remove the bolts that secure the fuel pump assembly to the gas tank.
6. Use a flat-head screwdriver to pry the fuel pump assembly up from the gas tank.
7. Remove the gas tank from the vehicle.
Be sure to wear safety glasses when working on the fuel system.
