* Cylinder Head Bolts:
* Step 1: 22 ft-lb (30 Nm)
* Step 2: 45 ft-lb (61 Nm)
* Step 3: 65 ft-lb (88 Nm)
Note:
- Apply a thin coat of clean engine oil to threads of cylinder head bolts and to bearing surfaces of washers before installing.
- The final head bolt tightening sequence must follow proper procedure when torquing and this sequence must be used in reverse order when loosening cylinder head bolts.
- Cylinder head bolts are TTY "torque-to-yield" and must be replaced whenever removed.
