1. Park the vehicle on a level surface and allow the engine to cool down completely.
2. Open the hood and locate the coolant reservoir. It is a translucent plastic tank that is located on the passenger side of the engine compartment.
3. Remove the radiator cap. Be careful, as the coolant may be hot and under pressure.
4. Fill the coolant reservoir with a 50/50 mixture of antifreeze and water.
5. Start the engine and let it run for a few minutes.
6. Turn the heater on high and let the engine run for another 10 minutes.
7. Turn the engine off and let it cool down completely.
8. Check the coolant level in the reservoir and add more if necessary.
9. Replace the radiator cap.
