Fuel Pump Replacement Instructions:
1.) Ensure that the vehicle is in a safe location for performing work underneath it. Disconnect the negative terminal of the battery.
2.) Locate the fuel pump access hatch on the underside of the vehicle. It may be covered by a protective cover that needs to be removed with a Phillips-head screwdriver.
3.) Once access to the fuel pump assembly has been gained, use the flat-head screwdriver to remove fuel lines from fuel pump outlet.
4.) Use the socket wrench to remove the bolts holding the fuel pump assembly in place.
5.) Remove the fuel pump assembly from the fuel tank.
6.) Remove the fuel filter from the pump by grasping it and removing from fuel pump
7.) Re-attach fuel filter to the new pump.
8.) Insert the new pump assembly into the fuel tank and secure it using the bolts.
9.) Re-connect the fuel lines to the outlet of the new fuel pump.
10.) Replace the protective cover (if applicable) over the fuel pump access hatch.
11.) Reconnect the negative terminal of the battery.
