How do you change fuel pump on 2000 GMC Savana?

Tools Needed:

- Phillips-head screwdriver

- Flat-head screwdriver

- Hammer

- Socket wrench set

- Safety glasses

- Gloves

Fuel Pump Replacement Instructions:

1.) Ensure that the vehicle is in a safe location for performing work underneath it. Disconnect the negative terminal of the battery.

2.) Locate the fuel pump access hatch on the underside of the vehicle. It may be covered by a protective cover that needs to be removed with a Phillips-head screwdriver.

9.) Re-connect the fuel lines to the outlet of the new fuel pump.

10.) Replace the protective cover (if applicable) over the fuel pump access hatch.

11.) Reconnect the negative terminal of the battery.
