1. Find the idle speed adjustment screw. On your Camaro, the idle speed adjustment screw is located on the throttle body. It is usually a small, plastic screw with a slotted head.
2. Start your engine and let it warm up. The engine should be at normal operating temperature before you adjust the idle.
3. Connect a tachometer to the engine. This will allow you to measure the engine's idle speed.
4. Turn the idle speed adjustment screw. Turn the screw clockwise to increase the idle speed, and turn it counterclockwise to decrease the idle speed.
5. Adjust the idle speed to the desired setting. The recommended idle speed for your Camaro is between 600 and 800 RPM.
6. Turn off the engine.
7. Check the idle speed again. Make sure the idle speed is still at the desired setting.
