1. Open the rear lift gate.
2. Locate the two screws holding the third brake light in place. They are located on the inside of the lift gate, near the top.
3. Remove the two screws using a Phillips head screwdriver.
4. Pull the third brake light straight out of the opening. It may be necessary to use a little force.
5. Disconnect the electrical connector from the back of the third brake light.
6. Remove the third brake light from the vehicle.
To reinstall the third brake light, simply reverse the above steps.
