1. Disconnect negative battery terminal.
2. Remove the rear heat shield.
3. Remove the rear seat cushion and remove the bolt under it.
4. Remove the fuel tank filler neck.
5. Remove the left access cover.
6. Remove the right access cover.
7. Disconnect fuel lines.
8. Remove electrical connections.
9. Remove the two nuts that hold the fuel pump assembly to the tank.
10. Remove the fuel pump assembly.
1992-1995 (4WD, 4-door model)
1. Disconnect negative battery terminal.
2. Remove the two bolts from the fuel tank skid plate.
3. Remove the skid plate.
4. Remove the rear access cover.
5. Disconnect the fuel lines from the fuel pump.
6. Disconnect the electrical connector from the fuel pump.
7. Remove the lock ring that secures the fuel pump assembly.
8. Remove the fuel pump assembly from the tank.
1992-1995 (2WD, 4-door model)
1. Disconnect negative battery terminal.
2. Drain fuel tank and remove the fuel tank and pump assembly.
