Wind turbines convert the kinetic energy of the wind into electrical energy. Hydroelectric dams use the energy of flowing water to generate electricity. Ethanol plants convert biomass (such as corn) into ethanol, which can be used as a fuel. All of these methods of generating energy do not produce greenhouse gases, which contribute to climate change.
