* Biofuels. Biofuels are produced from plant materials, such as corn, soybeans, and sugarcane. They can be used to replace gasoline and diesel fuel in vehicles, and produce fewer greenhouse gases than fossil fuels.
The transition away from fossil fuels will require a significant investment in research and development, as well as changes to our infrastructure and our way of life. However, it is an essential step if we want to avoid the worst effects of climate change and ensure a sustainable future for our planet.
