* Locate the gearbox filler plug. The filler plug is usually located on the side of the gearbox housing, near the top. It is a small, threaded plug that is usually made of plastic or metal.
* Remove the filler plug. Use a wrench to loosen the filler plug and remove it from the gearbox housing.
* Insert a funnel into the filler hole. Place a funnel into the filler hole to prevent the transmission fluid from spilling.
* Add transmission fluid. Slowly add transmission fluid to the gearbox until it reaches the bottom of the filler hole.
* Replace the filler plug. Once the transmission fluid has been added, replace the filler plug and tighten it securely.
It is important to check the transmission fluid level regularly to ensure that the transmission is operating properly. The transmission fluid should be at the bottom of the filler hole when the vehicle is cold.
